KWI Conduit

Volume VIII, Number 1
Spring 2000

Editor's Comments
Greetings!  In this issue of the Conduit you will find many exciting articles.  You will be able to read about Dr. Jill Yager being honored by KWI, an announcement about an upcoming KWI Conference in Florida, and a whole host of other karst related information that you want to know!  As always, please send any comments or suggestions on how the Conduit can be improved.  Also, please continue to forward news of interest and articles about karst related happenings for inclusion in next the KWI Conduit.

This volume of the Conduit marks the final one of my tenure as editor.  Ira Sasowsky, Vice-President of Communications for KWI, has begun searching for a new editor to take over the Conduit beginning next Spring with Issue 1 of Volume IX.  If you are interested in undertaking this task and becoming an active participant in the advancement of the Karst Waters Institute please write Ira or me.  We hope to fill the position before publication of the Fall 2000 issue begins so that the editor-to-be has the opportunity to learn the ropes before assuming the reins.

Once again thank you for your support and interest in the KWI Conduit.

Best Wishes,
Toby Dogwiler
