Daniel H. Doctor

Daniel H. Doctor is a member of the Board of Directors and the Associate Vice President for Communications. He received his Ph.D. in 2002 from the University of Minnesota, Department of Geology and Geophysics, in Minneapolis, Minnesota after studying the hydrogeology of Classical Karst aquifer of southwestern Slovenia. He has published numerous scholarly articles on topics including quantifying the sources of water to karst springs, mapping sinkhole susceptibility hazards, and assessing recharge to karst aquifers through monitoring of drip waters in caves. He currently works as a Research Geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey.
