Rachel Bosch

Dr. Rachel Bosch is an Associate of KWI and serves as its Community Outreach Coordinator. Rachel recently completed their Ph.D. in the Department of Geology at the University of Cincinnati where they use a combination of field work, laboratory experimentation, and numerical modeling to understand the physical and chemical processes that shape our Earth’s surface and subsurface into landscapes. They received a B.A. in physics from Wesleyan University and an M.S. in geosciences from Penn State University. Rachel is a member of the Explorers Club, the student representative to the Karst Division of the Geological Society of America, a Fellow of the Cave Research Foundation (CRF), a CRF expedition leader, and co-founder of the CRF Kids Caving Expedition. Rachel is a winner of the 2021 KWI Distinguished Service Award.
