Rachel Bosch is an Associate of KWI and serves as its Community Outreach Coordinator. Rachel is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geology at the University of Cincinnati where they use a combination of field work, laboratory experimentation, and numerical modeling to understand the physical and chemical processes that shape our Earth’s surface and subsurface into landscapes. They received a B.A. in physics from Wesleyan University and an M.S. in geosciences from Penn State University. Rachel is a member of the Explorers Club, the student representative to the Karst Division of the Geological Society of America, a Fellow of the Cave Research Foundation (CRF), a CRF expedition leader, and co-founder of the CRF Kids Caving Expedition. Rachel is a winner of the 2021 KWI Distinguished Service Award.
